The Kilbirnie Place Senior Section competitions have now concluded with Robert Evans winning the Seniors Matchplay Trophy singles championship defeating Andy McCallum and Ross Anderson along with partner Tom Chesney won the 4 Ball Tankards doubles beating last year's champions Tom Lawson and Andy Blackwood.

The presentation of prizes was held on Tuesday 30th September in the clubhouse after a 13 hole competition..

Once again a big thank must go to Hugh Smith and Jim Mitchell for making sure the senior section runs very smoothly. Another big thank you must go to Ross Anderson  and Jim Mitchell along with Brian Craig and Duncan McGregor for running the senior league under such stressful circumstances, and thank you to the members who turned out week after week to support the section.
